In Loving Memory!

As all of our close freinds and family know, Pongo was getting to be a very old dog. He was 13 years old and his body was starting to show it. On Saturday the 21st of February Adam and I finally decided it was time to take pongo to the Vet. We knew something was wrong with him and after noticing a huge lump on his hip and knowing pongo was in pain we decided to do the right thing. The Vet took a biopsy and X-ray and found pongo had cancer that had eaten most of his muscle away and was very deep into his bone. He gave pongo 30 days of where he thought pongo was at and gave us the option of what we wanted to do. Knowing that the poor guy was in a lot of pain we decided to help pongo out and make him a happier dog. We all miss pongo very much and we will always have the pictures and memories of him. Benton still walks around and says pongo all of the time. We tell him he is in heaven and point to the sky, so benton points out side now and says pongo's name.
