Gage

Chaye gave birth to Gage on Saturday August 23rd at 11:45 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz. and 20" long. I was so proud of them and Gage is such a beautiful baby, so chunky too. Chaye and Gage are both doing very well and she cant wait to get him home. Congrats guys, we love you all.

On the hunt

On sunday we went on four wheelers up to a spot where the locals go and scout for different game for the upcoming season. We had so much fun, the scenery was unbeleivable and the smell of the forest was awesome. I saw so many butterflys. The only downer was having to pee outside and hoping a bear didnt stumble across me with my pants down.
Jason and Mom hanging out. My mom wanted to pick fresh raspberries. We hiked for what felt like five miles. Probably only two, but i am in poor shape! Well we finally crashed in some shade to take in the scenery. It was fun, however i was still worried about bears the whole time.
Here is Adam and I in an open meadow. At least here i could see if a bear was coming at me since there were fewer trees around.
So Jason thought he was MR. COOL and decided to lay on the back of the four wheeler. He never fell off but it didn't last very long cuz it hurt his back to lay like that. ( His poor little bummy hurt from riding on the very back) On our way down the canyon we spotted a couple picking some berries, my mother being the curious and not so shy woman she is asks what they are picking. It turns out they were picking huckleberries, so we saw what the looked and tasted like and drove down a little further to pick our own. We picked for over an hour, we had so much fun and got eaten alive by mosquitos. Apparently the bugs like the berries as much as we do. We picked so much i brought them home and made jam! Thanks Jason and Jenn for such a fun weekend. Hopefully we can come up again before snowfall, that was a blast.

The great flood!

After the fair we headed back to Jason and Jenns and there was a massive rain fall including a ton of good sized hail. Well upon arriving at their house the rain was just pouring down. I guess this was the first time for a huge rain fall since they moved in. Their basement almost flooded and we had to keep water away from the basement door. It was so chaotic, jason was digging trenched trying to keep the swift river that had formed in his backyard from flowing into the house. And then it stopped.... It was exciting and no damage was visible.

This is quenton bailing water off of the back landing to the basement door.

The Bungee Jumping Cables

Braydon and Dyllan jumped on the tramps while connected to Bungee cords. I am suprised i let Dyllan do it, holy crud those kids got so high up in the air. I was worried they wouldn't come back down. However i was pleased with myself and i kept it cool in front of the fam.

This is Braydon jumping, he went first. I think that gave dyllan some courage to go through with it.

Dyllan showed no fear at all. Man he go so high. I am proud at how brave these kids were. Quenton did it too but i wasnt able to get any pictures of him. Sorry buddy!

The Dunk Tank!

While the guys were out fishing we went to the Lincoln County Fair. C'aira and Kortni are both in Brave Cadets Dance team at School. They had to sit in a Dunk Tank for the fair. It was great to get to dunk the girls in freezing water!!!! Thanks for that moment of satisfaction on your behalf ladies.

Guys out Fishing!

A couple of weekends ago we visited Jason, Jenn and the kids in Wyoming. What a beautiful place that is in the summertime. The guys had fun on saturday afternoon fishing. We were able to catch up with them and get some pictures.
Jason likes to float the river on his raft. Quite convenient!!
Adam had fun fishing. He did get eaten by the mosquitos though. He had a head cold that weekend too. But he never once complained about it.
Here is a picture of my dad fishing. He loves being with the boys and the boys love being with him.

Benton Loves Feeding Dad

Benton found that he enjoys feeding his daddy treats. It all started with licorice. He makes sure Adam gets every last little bit of licorice before he is done. It is so cute to because he never tries to eat it himself. He just gets satisfaction out of giving it to daddy!

Lagoon Day

Wednesday was Adam's Work Lagoon Day. Unfortunatley they do not give the day off to their employees. But the families get to all go, and the employess if they decide to only go for a couple hours after work! Here is a picutre of all the kids. Alyssa and Maddy are in back then of course there is mckelle, dyllan and paxton.

We went on the Rattle Snake Rapids. We all got soaking wet!!! Not one dry bone on any of our bods! Not to worry the baby sat out on this one.

Mckelle and I got to sit in front on the puff mini rollercoaster. She is funny, i dont think she was scared one bit.

Here is Maddy and Benton, this picture was taken on the train. We made sure to bounce back our tickets so that dad (adam) can come and go with us next time. We missed him today.

The Cake!

Here is benton's first birthday cake. He got to have his own person mini cake! And He LOVED it!
Here is the cake that the rest of us enjoyed.
He wasnt so sure of the candle so i helped him blow it out.
Here he is taking his first taste! I know he was jsut thinking "Humm..... this is something i have never gotten to do before"

And here he is toward the end. However he had frosting all over the place. I think he finished most of the cake too! We had to throw him in the bath after. Luckily he got a couple of cool new bath toys, so the bath was lots of fun.

Benton Turned 1 Today!

Prince Benton enjoyed his first birthday. Some of his cousins and freinds came over and played on the slip and slide. Benton fell asleep at his own party, however he soon woke up and opened presents.
This is the first time benton ever got to have "Heavy Heavy Hang Over" It was a touching moment.
Here he is opening up more fun presents from freinds.
Grandma and Grandpa Blackman sent some presents that benton loved. He wanted to play with them right away. Thanks for sending the presents, we missed you guys. Come visit us soon.
What a lovely picture of the proud mommy and daddy. And what a goofy lookin picture!

Swim Lessons

Dyllan has past level 1 in swim lessons and has now moved onto level 2. He is really a pretty good swimmer. I think i may have a little michael phelps on my hands! What can i say, i am a proud momma.

Welcome to the Family Garrison!

The first offical family picture. They are such proud parents. We took this picture the next day while visiting. Patrick gave him his first bath and was eager to learn all about how to take care of his new little one. The nurse gave him his lesson on bathing and clothing garrison. It was cute!
Here is me and garrison. He already knows i am his favorite aunt. I just still have to remind him.
Uncle adam and his first visit with baby garrison.
Patrick and Dyllan have fun teasing each other. I think dyllan enjoys every minute of torture patrick gives him.

Heidi in Labor!!!

On Wednesday July 23rd Heidi was induced. Benton and I got to the hospital just as heidi started to push. Thirty minutes later she had delivered our cute little Garrison. Her labor and delivery was fast. She started around 9:00 am and had him by 12:35 pm.We all had fun listening by the door. We could hear the nurse telling her to push and the babies first cries. I was happy to be on the other side of the door listening in. The doctor went in to the room and teased us all that he would open the door and we would all fall in.
This is Heidi's sister Wendy she is hoding Benton. And of course Grandpa Scottie (and Heidi's Dad Grandpa Bruce) both got to the hospital minutes before the baby was born.
